Ruth Esquibel, a resident of Albuquerque since 1989, died January 17, 1999 after a lengthy illness. Ms. Esquibel was preceded in death by her parents, Eugenio and Emilia Esquibel; sister, Liola Nabors; and brother, Barney Esquibel. Ms. Esquibel is survived by her sisters, Bennie DeGeer of San Francisco, CA, Femia Bustamante and husband, Jim of Santa Fe, Marian Esquibel of Albuquerque; brothers, Sylvestre Esquibel and Medardo Esquibel of Albuquerque. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, February 13, 1999 at 10:30 a.m. in La Joya, NM with Father Vincent as Celebrant. Inurnment following at La Joya Cemetery.
