Wade R. Swift Sr., December 25, 1943 - June 9, 1999, died suddenly while visiting in Arkansas. He was a decorated Vietnam Veteran, having served in Southeast Asia from 1965 through 1978. Wade was preceded in death by his father, O.S. Swift of Texas City, TX, December 25, 1979; and his daughter, Wendy Ruth, December 26, 1994. He is survived by his mother, Merle Hughes of Houston, TX; sister, Becky Lisbong and husband, Walter of Galveston, TX; brother, Bobby Hughes and family of Houston, TX; children, son, Wade Jr. and wife, Gina of Albuquerque; daughter, Cendy and husband, Eugene Archibeque of Clovis; ex-wife, Jimmie Swift of Albuquerque; and nine grandchildren. Burial will be in Santa Fe, NM at the National Cemetery, date to be announced.
