Mark A. Newton made his transition on June 10, 1999. He was born in Fort Worth, TX, June 20, 1927. He is survived by his wife, Marianne; dog, Boris; and step-son, David Kern. He was a veteran of WWII and served in the Pacific. His life's occupation was forestry and he loved the trees, animals, and being outdoors with nature. Cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Those wishing to remember Mark may do so by a contribution to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Kanab, UT 84741. Cremation arrangements are by Sunrise Society of New Mexico, 891-8200.
