Frances Rita Duffy died Friday night, June 11, 1999. She died in her own home in her own bed surrounded by a large extended family who loved her very much. She was 84 years old. Fran was born Frances R. Holler on December 7, 1914, in West New York, New Jersey. She taught Physical Education at Memorial High School there for almost 40 years before moving to Albuquerque in 1980, to be near her children. Fran is survived by her loving husband, William J. Duffy, her brothers, Edward and Richard Holler; her sister, Roseanne Gherken; her children, Lemuel Browne and Jeanette Ross and numerous grand and great-grandchildren. She was loved by many and will be missed very much. Memorial Services are pending and the family requests no flowers. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919-4th St, NW. 343-8008
