Obituary for Madrid

Mrs. Celia V. Madrid, 74, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on January 30, 1999. Mrs. Madrid was the beloved wife of 40 years to Mr. Jose (Joe) Madrid. She is also survived by two sisters, Effie Esham and Eloisa V. Martinez; brother-in-law, Joe V. Madrid and wife, Jeanell of Salt Lake City, UT; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Vigil was a member of the Catholic Church, lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary Post #122 and Post #13. A Rosary will be recited Thursday morning, 10:00 a.m., at St. Edwins Catholic Church, 2105 Barcelona SW, with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at St. Edwins Church. Visitation will be at the church after 9:30 a.m. Deacon J.O. Luna will recite the Rosary and Monsignor Sipio Salas will celebrate the Mass. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Martin Montano, Jesse Lucero, Ernest Vigil, Willie Abeyta, Larry Gurule, Tim Madrid and Eric Lucero. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW, in charge of the arrangements.
