Mary E. Frey, age 78, a resident here 29 years, died Friday at her home following an illness. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles F. Frey in 1984, and her sister Geraldine F. Rice in December. She is survived by two nieces, Patricia Geraghty and Sarah Szuka and a nephew, Michael Finnegan, and many friends. She was a member of the Women's Guild at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, and the Duke City Bridge Club. Mrs. Frey had a career with the USDA retiring as assistant to the Information Officer. The rosary will be recited 10:30 a.m. Thursday prior to the memorial service held at Our Lady of Fatima Church with Fr. Francis X. Eggert, officiating. Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle NE are in charge of arrangements. Memorials maybe made to the Presbyterian Hospice or a Charity of your choice.
