Obituary for Dayhoff

Richard M. (Dick) Dayhoff, 77, a resident of Albuquerque since 1953, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning. He is survived by his daughters, Barbara Parker and husband, John of Albuquerque; Virginia Hill and husband, David of Bluewater, NM; sons, Richard J. Dayhoff and wife, Lynne and Russell S. (Harvey) Dayhoff, all of Albuquerque; daughter, Patricia L. Hamilton of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Michael Kemm, Michelle Burros and husband, Chris, Joshua Hill and wife, Nicole, Allison Morris and husband, Robert, Zachary Hill, Kenneth Dayhoff and wife, Heather, Richard (Jimmy) Dayhoff and Shawn Dayhoff; great-grandchild, Oliver Jack Morris and one great-grandson on the way; sisters, Elinor Echlin of Vancouver, WA and Beverly Nelson and husband, Wayne of Portland, OR; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Dayhoff was a graduate of the South Dakota School of Mines and Stanford University. He served with the US Navy during WWII as pilot. Mr. Dayhoff retired from Sandia National Labs. He was an avid sports fan and bowler and he also played golf and bridge. Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, February 3, 1999, 2:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating.
