Nellie O'Connor, 77, a lifelong resident of New Mexico, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, died Monday, January 4, 1999. She is survived by her daughters, Ann Fosso and husband, Karl of Magdalena, NM and Geraldine Corriz of Santa Fe, NM; son, Michael O'Connor Sr. and wife, Ruth of Covington, KY; six grandchildren, Sean Peel and wife, Kelly of Boston, MA, Jason Fosso and wife, Debbie of Rio Rancho, Michael O'Connor Jr. of Covington, KY, Fawn O'Connor of Ft. Richardson, AK, B.J. Corriz of Albuquerque and Fawn Corriz of Santa Fe; great-granddaughter, Cynthia Michelle O'Connor of Covington, KY; sisters, Polly Serna of Santa Fe, NM, Joanne Rodriguez of Albuquerque, Frances Cien of Spring Valley, CA, Lupe Montoya and husband, Bernie of Phoenix, AZ, and Aurelia Ortiz of Albuquerque; and brother, Laddie Tafoya of Albuquerque; and mother, Mary Gaines of Spring Valley, CA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry O'Connor in 1985; sisters, Marian Perry and Dolores Apodaca; brothers, Adolfo Tafoya, Melcor Tafoya, and Cleto Tafoya. Memorial services are pending.
