Robert Lee Burns, Jr., 39, a resident of Albuquerque for 26 years, died Saturday, January 2, 1999. He is survived by his wife, Connie of the family home; daughters, Rebecca Burns and Jennifer Burns of Albuquerque; granddaughter, Delilah E.R. Chavez of Albuquerque; mother, Mary L. Burns of Los Lunas, NM; maternal grandmother, Lucinda M. Garcia of Truth or Consequences, NM; paternal grandmother, Osha V. Burns of Deming, NM; sisters, Shirley M. Stevenson of Deming, NM and Dorothy T. Toers-Bijns of Los Lunas, NM; brothers, William J. Burns of Tucumcari, NM and Morris W. Burns and David R. Burns of Albuquerque. Robert was employed by Gardner-Zemke Construction. Services will be held Friday, 12:00 noon, at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Pastor T.C. Messer officiating. Interment will follow at Sandia Memory Gardens. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Thursday, 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
