Herman E. Sachs, 69, passed away at his home in Belen on Saturday, January 23, 1999. He was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry R. Sachs II and his mother, Magdelina Sachs. Herman is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Shirley of the family home in Belen; children, Steven, Anna, Samuel, Christopher, Gregory, Michael, Richard, Lisa and David; grandchildren, Jason, Joshua, Ambrosia, Roberto, Martin Jr., Alicia, Sarah, Samantha, Chad, Vannessa, and Ashley. Herman is also survived by one brother, Henry; and many loving nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Rosary was recited on Sunday, 3:00 p.m., at Romero Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass was held on Monday, 10:00 a.m., at the San Isidro Catholic Church in Pueblitos, NM. Interment followed at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers were his children.
