Obituary for Bauer

Mary Louise Journot Bauer, 78, a resident of Albuquerque, died on Tuesday, January 26, 1999. She is survived by her husband, Barney L. Bauer of the family home; daughters, LeAnna Jones of Albuquerque, and Merri E. Gandy and husband, Tom of Aztec, NM; son, E. John Bauer of Albuquerque; brothers, George W. Journot and Richard Journot, both of Parson, KS; sisters, Ida Frayher of California, Ann Pontious, and Pauline Stilley, both of Parsons, KS; grandchildren, Timothy Jones, Stephanie McCurley, Amy Jones, Thomas Gandy, Adam Gandy and Eric Gandy; and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Bauer was preceded in death by three brothers. She was a member of the Rosary Altar Society, Legion of Mary, Catholic Daughters of America, and a Charter member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Rosary will be recited Thursday, January 28, 1999, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas NE, with Deacon Tom Jones reciting. Mass will be celebrated Friday, January 29, 1999, 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 4020 Lomas Blvd. NE. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Thursday, from 6:30 p.m. to the time of Rosary. Pallbearers will be Tom Gandy, Thomas Gandy, Adam Gandy, Eric Gandy, James Jones, and Tim Jones.
