Margaret Herrera, 74, a resident of Albuquerque since 1946, died Friday, January 22, 1999. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Anthony J. Herrera of Albuquerque; sons, Charles O. Herrera and wife, Yvonne of Albuquerque and Anthony J. Herrera and wife, Eileen of Fullerton, CA; daughter, Mary Margaret Sallinger and husband, Dan of Alamogordo; granddaughter, Michele Margaret Herrera of Albuquerque; grandsons, Dominic Anthony Herrera, Doyle Allen Herrera, and Reilly O'Neill Herrera all of Fullerton, CA, and Chris Sallinger and wife, Shannon of Alamogordo; great-granddaughter, Nicolette Arianna Herrera of Albuquerque; brother, Daniel O'Neill and wife, Greta of Middlesborough, England. Margaret was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. Rosary will be recited Monday, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with deacon George Sandoval reciting. Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, 10:30 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Church, 619 Copper NW, with Father Frank Renfroe, S.J., Celebrant. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be members of the Disabled American Veterans. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Sunday, 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 5800 Lomas NE, 87110.
