Services for Anna Matesich will be held Friday, May 21, 1999, 10:00 a.m., at the Memorial Rose Garden in Vista Verde Memorial Park, 4310 Sara Rd., Rio Rancho, NM. Mrs. Matesich passed away Sunday, May 16, 1999. She was born May 2, 1901 in Croatia, and came to the United States in 1910, at the age of nine years. Mrs. Matesich moved to Rio Rancho in 1977 and was an active and involved resident at the Vista Grande Retirement Center. Preceded in death by her son, Emerick Matesic; she is survived by her two daughters, Margaret Casey and husband, Thomas of Rio Rancho and Lillian Adams and husband, Louis of Forest Hills, PA; and four grandchildren, Marianne Gardner of Rio Rancho, Marc Adams of Virginia, Gary Matesic of Texas and Paul Adams of Pennsylvania; as well as four great-grandchildren; and many friends. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial gifts may be made to the Animal Humane Association of New Mexico, 615 Virginia SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108.
