Virginia Mae Bowman Moore, born May 2, 1917 in Goldthwaite, TX, died April 5, 1999 in Lovelace Hospital, Albuquerque. She is survived by her husband, Jason P. Moore whom she married August 24, 1940; daughter, Laura Marjorie Moore Shaefer and husband, Harry; son, Jon Lawrence Moore and wife, Leigh; daughter, Virginia Elizabeth Moore and husband, Arnold Buzzard; son Jason Henry Moore and wife, Carolyn. She is also survived by three grandsons; five granddaughters; one great-grandson; and one great-granddaughter. Visitation will be held 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 8, 1999 at Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 coal Ave. SE. Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 9, 1999 at Central United Methodist Church, 1615 Copper NE. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to CUMC organ fund, 1615 Copper NE, NM. Interment will be 3:00 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE, in charge of arrangements.
