Jefferson H. Jordan Sr., 85, a resident of Albuquerque, died Friday, April 2, 1999. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Elsie Jordan of Albuquerque; daughters, Brenda Younger and Annette Holmes; son, Jeff Jordan Jr.; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Annie Mae Kelsbie; brothers, Charles Jordan and wife, Ann and Walter G. Jordan and wife, Gloria; and many other relatives and friends. Jefferson was preceded in death by his son, George G. Johnson and his grandson, Jefferson J. Jordan III. He was a member of Hoffmantown Church and the Masonic Lodge in Florein, LA. He was also a Veteran of WWII, serving in the European Theater. Services will be held Tuesday, April 6, 1999, 10:30 a.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE with Pastor Ken Moore officiating. Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Caitlin Robb Foundation, 1954 E. El Freda, Tempe, AZ 85284.
