Obituary for Earl

Clayton Earl, age 84, and formerly from Sparta, NJ, died on March 31, 1999 in Albuquerque. He was born in Belleville, NJ to Roy H. and Mabel E. Earl in 1914. The decorated veteran of World War II served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the V.F.W. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 38 years of service. Mr. Earl was a member of the Moose Lodge in Brooksville, FL and moved to Albuquerque from Florida nine months ago. He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine M. Earl in 1998 and is survived by four children, Barbara Frazier of Albuquerque, Gregory Earl of Winter Haven, FL, Jane Silva of Manassas, VA and Michael Earl of Clearwater, FL; a brother, Richard Earl of Newton, NJ; and seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at a later date in Florida. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association.
