Obituary for Parada

Elisa R. Parada, 73, a beloved and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, was called home to be with the Lord, Saturday, March 27, 1999. She is survived by her loving husband, Felipe Parada of the family home; five sons, Nick Parada of Las Cruces, Jerry, Edward, Robert and Orlando Parada of Albuquerque; also, a granddaughter, Jennifer Sanchez; three sisters, Emma Gillesjsie, Antonia Martinez and Marcella Archibeque. She was preceded in death by her father, Eliseo Ramos; mother, Margarita Ramos; brother, Euslacio Valles; and her sister, Guadalupe Suarez. Family and friends may visit Monday, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary, on the corner of 8th and Stover SW, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, at Sacred Heart Church, 412 Stover SW at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Casket Bearers: Jerry Parada Jr., Nathan Parada, James Parada, Mark Archibeque, James Apodaca and Mike Apodaca. Honorary Pallbearers: Nicholas Parada, Eddie Brito, Mike Sanchez and Nino Archibeque.
