Regina R. Konkol, age 91, a resident of Bosque Farms, died Wednesday, March 24, 1999 in a local hospital. She is survived by her husband, John Konkol of 71 years. She was a member of Guadalupe Parish. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, canning and playing cards. Visitation will be held Friday, March 26, 1999 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave SE. A Rosary will be recited Friday, March 26, 1999 at 7:30 p.m. in the Fern Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, March 27, 1999 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Gallegos as celebrant. Benny Zamora, Joe Padilla, Walter Phear, Harold Damratowski, David Baker and Terry Spitz will serve as pallbearers. Entombment will follow in Gate of Heaven Mausoleum. Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave SE, in charge of arrangements.
