Obituary for Hanna

Ellen Rosemary Clune Hanna, age 89, a resident of Albuquerque for 47 years, died Wednesday, March 24, 1999. She is survived by daughters, Barbara J. Hanna of Albuquerque, Janet M. Savage and husband, John of Albuquerque; son, Billy Hanna and wife, Mary of Albuquerque; three sisters, Marie Ludt of Mississippi, Alice Lucas of New York, Jane Hoffman of New Jersey; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild and her cat, Katie her beloved pet and companion. She is preceded in death by her husband Hunter P. Hanna and a sister Virginia Goger. She was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 26, 1999 from noon to 7:00 p.m. at Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave SE. A Rosary will be recited Friday, March 26, 1999 at 7:00 p.m. in the Palm Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, March 27, 1999 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 833 Arizona SE, with Father Joe Vigil as celebrant. Her grandsons, Danny Hanna, Mark Jackson, Jimmy Hanna, Greg Osborne, Eric Osborne, Brian Osborne, Jeff Knight and Domonic Lueras will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery and Mausoleum. Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave SE, in charge of arrangements.
