Mr. Atilano Stevens died Monday in Albuquerque at the age of 61. Mr. Stevens is survived by his special friend, Margaret Martinez; son, Atilano Stevens Jr.; daughters, May Stevens and Stephanie Stevens; brother, Joe Gilbert Stevens; sister, Audry Phillips; uncle, Onofre Stevens; aunt, Chonita Martinez; and two grandchildren. Funeral Services for Mr. Stevens will be held on Friday at the St. Therese Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gilbert Stevens, John Stevens, Frank Stevens, Dennis Martinez, Transito Stevens and Richard Sanchez. Honorary pallbearers will be Andy Candelaria, Gabe Martinez and e=Edward Maez. A Rosary for Mr. Stevens will be recited on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 Third St. SW.
