Gerald Paul Ernst, 71, a resident of Albuquerque for 21 years, died Monday, April 12, 1999. He is survived by his wife of 45 and a half years, Lucretia; sons, Stephen Ernest, wife, Sue, and children, Lauren and Logan Ernst of Colorado, Jeffrey Ernst, wife, Bonnie, and children, Alexis and Julie Ernst of Utah; daughter, Pamela Sedmak and husband, David of Ohio; brothers, Edward Ernst and wife, Margaret of South Carolina and Donald Ernst of Washington, DC. Mr. Ernst retired after being employed with General Electric for 38 years. Memorial services will be held Saturday, 11:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation of NM, 124 Alvarado Dr. SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108. Interment will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
