Obituary for Davis

Kathryn Edmonson Davis, 78, passed away on Saturday, April 10, 1999, in Albuquerque, after a long battle with lung disease. She is survived by her son, Dr. Ted Davis of Albuquerque, his wife, Kristin Kron, and their eight year old daughter, Kelcey Davis; two brothers, Charles D. Edmonson of Louisville, KY and W.R. Edmonson of Denver CO, and their families; and several cousins. She was an almost lifelong resident of Owensboro, Kentucky, but moved to Albuquerque in 1993 to be near her son and his family. Despite her progressive illness, she made a final trip back to Kentucky in August 1997, to see her many friends. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a Metropolitan Life Insurance agent in Owensnboro. The family would like to thank her friends, physicians, nurses, and other medical personnel who helped care for her over the last several years and during her final acute illness. Her family and friends will miss her. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in Owensboro, KY within several weeks.
