Mrs. Mabel Gomez died on Wednesday at the age of 61. She is survived by her husband, Pete Gomez; one son, Pete Gomez Jr.; five daughters, Toni Treloar and husband, Joseph, Theresa Williams and husband, Steve, JoAnn Trujillo and husband, Dennis, Elsie Montoya and husband, Billy and Debra Gomez and fiance, Phillip Ortega; two brothers, William Benavidez and Alfred Benavidez; three sisters, Viola Maestas and husband, James, Ruby Orozco and husband, Adrian and Lucille Montoya; one sister-in-law, Patsy Gomez; and 15 grandchildren. Memorial services for Mrs. Gomez will be held on Saturday at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. A Memorial Rosary will be recited on Friday evening, 7:00 p.m., at the Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 Third St. SW.
