Obituary for Bustos

Vidal R. Bustos Jr., 52, lovingly known as"Pops","Goofy", and"Holmes" or"Junior", a resident of Albuquerque, died Thursday, May 6, 1999. He is survived by his wife, Jean Bustos of the family home; son, Ramon Bustos and fiancee, Donna Gibbs of Albuquerque; daughter, Nannette Voeks and husband, Rick of Albuquerque; five grandchildren, Ashley, Dominic and Amanda Voeks, Christopher and Ethan Ray Bustos; mother, Lucy G. Bustos of Las Vegas, NM; twin sister, Mary Agnes Rossman of Denver, CO; sisters, Mary Martha Sena and husband, Manuel of Albuquerque, and Jane Gallegos and husband, Leo of Las Vegas, NM; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Vidal will be remembered for his love of family, animals, and for his sense of humor. He was also a journeyman mason with excellent skills. Rosary will be recited Sunday, May 9, 1999, 7:00 p.m., at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Rd. NW. Mass will be celebrated Monday, May 10, 1999, 10:30 a.m., at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Rd. NW, with Father Vidal Martinez, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Richard Voeks, Stephen Sena, Christopher Bustos, Bobby Bustos, Manuel Sena, and Leo Gallegos. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Sunday, 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
