Cipy L. Montoya, 70, born September 25, 1928, died May 4, 1999. She was a lifelong resident of New Mexico. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Montoya; daughter, Janice Chavez; parents, Joaquin and Pelagia Segura; sister, Murphie Velasquez; and brother, Melo Segura. She is survived by her companion of many years, Natividad Padilla; sons, Edward Sandoval and wife, Loretta, and Michael Montoya of Gallup; daughters, Olga Gordon and husband, Joe, Mary Lou Montoya, and Eva and husband, Tim of Albuquerque; six sisters; four brothers; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two aunts; one uncle; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins who loved and will miss her. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, May 7, 1999 at St. Therese Catholic Church with Fr. John, Celebrant. Inurnment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
