Sharon Kay Towner entered peacefully into rest at Highland Hospital in Oakland, CA on January 4, 1999. She was 55. Born October 23, 1943 in Carlsbad, NM. Sharon was a devoted homemaker and mother. She was preceded in death by her husband, John G. Towner who was killed during the Vietnam War. Sharon will be deeply missed. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Carol T. Overacker of San Diego, CA; mother, Beverly Lynch of San Diego, CA (formerly of Albuquerque); father, Everett Triplett of Springfield, OH; loving companion, Theodore Fontano of Oakland, CA; grandchildren, Michael J. Wood San Lorenzo, CA, David J. Adams of Phoenix, AZ and Michaela J. Stanley of San Diego, CA. A private burial is scheduled for Sharon at the San Joaquin National Cemetery in Gustine, CA.
