Bertha L. Baker, died Tuesday, January 5, 1999 in Albuquerque at age 97. She was born July 28, 1901 to Nora and Edgar Knight. She grew up in Temple, OK. Mrs. Baker finished high school in 1919 and later taught school for five terms in Temple, OK. She was married to Z.T. Baker in 1923. He preceded her in death in 1985. Mrs. Baker is survived by two sons, Harold and wife, Jeanette and Ronald and wife, Celina; four granddaughters; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place and graveside services will be held Saturday, 10:00 a.m., at Sandia Memory Gardens, 9500 San Pedro NE, with Rev. Kathi Hunter officiating.
