Obituary for Gonzales

Rosendo Gonzales Sr., 64, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on December 8, 1999. Mr. Gonzales was the beloved husband of 41 years to Annie Gonzales. He is also survived by two sons, Manuel Gonzales and wife, Diane and Rosendo Gonzales Jr.; two grandsons, Rosendo Gonzales III and Richard Gonzales; two sisters, Helen and Roberta; three brothers, Carlos Gonzales and wife, Sheila, John Gonzales and wife, Pat, and David Gonzales; one aunt, Frances Sanchez and husband, Johnny and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Gonzales was a member of the Catholic Church and a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in the Korean Conflict. A Rosary will be recited Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW, with visitation after 6:30 p.m. Rosie and Eddie Andrade reciting. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday morning, 10:00 a.m., at San Martin Catholic Church, 8301 Camino San Martin SW, with visitation at the church after 9:30 a.m. Father Dan Farris, Celebrant. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. with Military Honors. Pallbearers will be Jesus Marquez, Tim Gonzales, Leonard Garcia, Carlos Gonzales, Tom Dumbert, Randy Garcia and honorary Raynaldo Marquez. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW, in charge of the arrangements.
