Janet Irene Smith, 61, born in Wooster, Ohio, to Melvin Johnsonbaugh and Estella Bauman Johnsonbaugh, July 4, 1938, passed on Thursday, November 11, 1999. Jan is survived by her husband, Ronald E. Phillips; her son, Steve Smith and wife, Linda, and children, Sean, Hillary and Zach of Fairview, MN; her daughter, Laura Brannen and husband, Scott, and children, Donovan and Chelsea of Albuquerque; her son, Gregg Smith of Albuquerque; her step-daughter, Rhonda Garland and husband, John, and children, John and Abbie Lee of Pennsylvania; her step-son, Russell Phillips of Albuquerque; her step-daughter, Teresa Curl and twin boys, Isaac and Elijah of Rio Rancho; her brother, Melvin Johnsonbaugh and his wife, and family of Albuquerque North Valley; her sister, Gloria Ann Beegie and husband, Art, and family in Maryland; her brother, Dick Johnsonbaugh of Placitas and his family; and her many friends coast to coast.
