Amanda J. Marquez, 23, beloved and devoted mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, and aunt, was called home to be with the Lord, Thursday, December 2, 1999 following a long illness. She is survived by her son, Andres, whom she loved very much; her parents, Ronald and Kathryn Marquez; one sister, Maria Marquez and nephew, Jeremiah; maternal grandmother, Carmen Madrid; paternal grandmother, Mary C. Marquez; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She will be greatly missed by her loving family. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to everyone for their prayers, support and kind thoughts. A memorial mass will be celebrated Monday, 11:00 a.m., at Holy Family Catholic Church. Funeral services are in the care of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave. SW.
