Obituary for Kristensen

Mary Jean Kirstensen (Jean), 77, a 53 year resident of Albuquerque and Tijeras, passed away at Sunbridge Mission Manor on November 30, 1999. Mrs. Kirstensen was born on January 19, 1922 in Grady, New Mexico. Her parents were Reid and Dena (Crecelius) Isler. They were early settlers in Eastern New Mexico. She graduated from Grady High School in 1938 and later attended Eastern New Mexico University at Portales, NM. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Eugene (Kris) Kristensen of Tijeras; brothers, Roy D. Isler and wife, Leona of Roswell and Francis H. Isler and wife, Shera of Tucumcari; brother-in-law, Donald Kirstensen and wife, Mary Lou of Minden, NE. Many nieces and nephews also survive her. Her parents; and a brother, James Isler, preceded Mrs. Kristensen in death. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, December 13, 1999, at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, with Rev. Clyde Stanfield officiating. Interment will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe. Friends may visit from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, December 2, 1999, at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
