The family of James A. Schmidt thanks the many, many friends and relatives who offered sympathy and support after the loss of our beloved son and brother. Special thanks to the Marines and Sailors of Company D, 4th Reconnaissance Battalion for their timely assistance and for providing military honors at his burial. We also wish to thank Father Michaelangelo Cimino of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, Albuquerque, and Pastor Ron Woodfin, Cedar Crest Baptist Church for their spiritual consolation. James is now at rest in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Albuquerque, NM.
