Obituary for Poulos

Goldie S. Poulos, 78, a resident of Albuquerque since 1946, died Tuesday, December 5, 2000. She is survived by her husband, George S. Poulos of Albuquerque; daughter, Victoria Marie Moskos and husband, Harry of Knoxville, TN; three grandchildren, Areti Klein and husband, James of Roswell, GA; Xrisanthe Christopoulos and husband, Christos, and Matthew Moskos, all of Knoxville, TN; five great-grandchildren, Stravroula and Alexandra Christopoulos; Victoria, Anna Katherine and Andreana Klein; a sister, Georgia Kartas of Albuquerque; sister-in-law, Voula Matchoukas of Greece; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Poulos was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Marhur. She was a member of the St. George Greek Orthodox Church and the Philoptochos Society of the Church. Trisagion will be held 7:00 p.m., Thursday, at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE. Services will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 308 High St. SE, with Father Mario Giannopoulos officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Christ Kirikos, Nick Kapnison, Nick Manole, Monty Preonas, Tasso Chronis and John Miaris. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Thursday.
