Obituary for Rhoads

Harold C. Rhoads, 68, beloved and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother, was called home to be with the Lord Tuesday, October 17, 2000. Mr. Rhoads was born in Los Angeles, CA to the late Harold Sr. and Mary Lorene Rhoads; he was a resident of Albuquerque; a proud veteran of the United States Air Force; he loved spending time with his family; and enjoyed collecting model Railroad trains. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Eva Rhoads, of the family home; his children, Camilla M. Morton and husband, Stephen III, Angela Steele and husband, Bradley, Howard Rhoads, Rhonda R. Johnston, Dorothy V. Frazee and husband, John; and nine precious grandchildren. Also surviving are two kindly sisters, Marion Bishop of Idaho, Mildred Perry of California; nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his loving family, and by those who loved and knew him. Visitations will today, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., this evening. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, 11:00 a.m., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with Fr. James Moore as Celebrant. Funeral services are in the care of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave. SW.
