Patsy Sherman died peacefully in her Albuquerque home on Friday, October 14, 2000. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Anita Sherman of Weaverville, NC; her brother, John Winton of Moriarty, NM; her sister, Marion Bue of New Castle, WA; her God-daughter, Anne Whiteside; her oldest friend in Albuquerque, Mary Margaret Kuehne; and 12 nieces and nephews with whom she maintained a close relationship. During her long residence in Albuquerque, she made many loving and supportive friends who were a source of strength to her. A Memorial service will be held Thursday, October 19, 10:00 a.m., at St. Mark's Church, 432 Richmond Place NE, Albuquerque, NM. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions to the Jeffrey G. Sherman Memorial Scholarship, UNM 2 Woodward Center, 700 Lomas NE, Albuquerque, NM 87131.
