David E. Carpenter, 70, a resident of Albuquerque since 1959, died Friday, October 13, 2000. He is survived by his brother, Paul Carpenter of Bernalillo; sister, Patricia Felmlee and husband, Theron of Fort Collins, CO; sister-in-law, Josephine Carpenter of Denver, CO; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Carpenter was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Carpenter. He received a degree in Agronomy from Colorado State University. Mr. Carpenter was a member of Sangre De Cristo Catholic Church. He was an Army veteran and served in the Korean War. Mr. Carpenter had worked for the City of Albuquerque for 26 years as a Health Inspector. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Saturday, 10:00 a.m., at Sangre De Cristo Catholic Church, 8901 Candelaria NE.
