Wilma B."Billye" Cummings, age 70, a resident of Albuquerque since 1961, died Wednesday. She was preceded in death by three daughters, Leslie Cummings of Enid, OK, Sheila Hutton of Albuquerque, Marsha Blanchard of Carny, OK; her parents, Edwin and Bernice Gee of Lahoma, OK. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Verlin D. Cummings; son, Verlin D. Cummings Jr.; three brothers, Bob Gee and wife, Clara, Merle Gee and wife, Norma, Jack Gee and wife, Judy; two grandchildren, Kirk Blanchard of Norman, OK, Lee Blanchard of Albuquerque; numerous nephews and cousins. Mrs. Cummings was a lifetime member of VFW Auxiliary Post 401, a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 99, a longtime member of the German-American Edelweiss Club. Viewing will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday. Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday in the chapel of Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle NE. Interment will be 10:00 a.m., Monday at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
