Guy Walton Jr., 76, a resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, January 19, 2000. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Barbara Walton of the family home; son, Roy Griffin and wife, Esterlene of Ft. Worth, TX; daughter, Barbara Arias and husband, Charlie of Albuquerque; son, Guy D. Walton of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Kevin, Lesa and Keith Griffin, Gregory and Jeremiah Arias; great-grandson, Shane Griffin; and sister, Juanita Brown of Augusta, GA. Mr. Walton retired from the United States Air Force in 1964 and he worked for the Albuquerque Public Library until his retirement. He was a member of the Navajo Lodge #863. Mr. Walton was a devoted husband and loving and caring father and grandfather. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Services will be held Monday, January 24, 2000, 12:00 noon at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd NE with Chaplain Lemuel Boyles officiating. Interment will take place at 3:00 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE Sunday, January 23, 2000 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
