Obituary for Foster

Eugene"Bill" S. Foster Jr., age 91, passed away at his home in Truth or Consequences, NM on Thursday, January 13, 2000. A former longtime resident of Albuquerque and Santa Fe, Mr. Foster had lived in Truth or Consequences, NM since 1980. He was born on April 15, 1908 in Archer City, Texas, the son of Eugene S. and the former Edna K. (Crudgington) Foster. A retired heavy equipment operator for the State of New Mexico, Mr. Foster was a member of the Montezuma Masonic Lodge in Santa Fe. He leaves to mourn his passing his daughter, Bette G. and husband, Tom Spoonts of Liberty Hill, TX; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and his daughter-in-law, Orlene Foster of Albuquerque. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Foster; and by a son, Stephen E. Foster. Cremation has taken place and interment will be held on Monday, January 24, 2000, 2:00 p.m., at the Memorial Garden Cemetery in Santa Fe.
