Obituary for Vega

Albert Swan Vega, 68, a native of Carrizozo, NM, passed away Friday, July 14, 2000. Mr. Vega was a member of the Catholic Church and proud to serve his country in the Army during the Korean War. He served the citizens of New Mexico as a State Highway Patrolman for 17 years. He is survived by Yvonne"Bonnie" Vega; sons, Anthony Barela, Albert"Beto" Vega and Donna Bustos, Aaron Stephen Vega; daughters, Anne Magdelene and husband, Orlando, Angela Vega, Amanda Trujillo and husband, Anthony; brothers, Joe Vega and wife, Isabel, Edward Vega and wife, Josie; sisters, Julia Samora and husband, Rito and Mary McKinley. A Rosary will be held Sunday, July 16, 2000 at 7:00 p.m., and a Christian Burial will be held Monday, July 17, 2000 at 10:30 a.m., both at the Santa Rita Church in Carrizozo, NM. He will be deeply missed by his loving family. Cremation arrangements by the Sunrise Society of New Mexico, 891-8200.
