James E. Maveety, 83, a resident of Albuquerque since 1983, died Thursday, July 13, 2000. He is survived by his son, Garry Maveety and wife, Vickie of Cedar Crest; daughter, Patricia Carnes of Dallas, TX; grandsons, Brian Ward of Albuquerque and Keith Carnes of Dallas, TX; granddaughters, Karen Slay and husband, Doug of Dallas, TX and Kate Carnes of Houston, TX; three great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Maveety of Las Cruces; and sister, Lettie Hoyt and husband, Al of Apple Valley, CA. Graveside services will be held Thursday, 2:00 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe. French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
