David Perry Horton, 80, a resident of Los Lunas for five years, died Wednesday, July 12, 2000. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Olive Altizer Horton of Los Lunas; and daughters, Pamela Sue Horton of Chesapeake, VA and Patricia Rose Horton of Los Lunas. Mr. Horton was a graduate of Holtsville High School in Millbrook, AL. He served in the U.S. Air Army Air Corps during WWII and was honorably discharged. Mr. Horton was a former Justice of the Peace. He was a 32nd Degree Mason, a member of the Vulcan Fraternal Masonic Lodge #823 in Birmingham, AL and was also a Shriner. Mr. Horton was a member of the First Baptist Church of Grantsville, WV. He was active in the Republican Party. Services will be held Monday, 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Sunday, 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
