John Sandoval Sr., age 73, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2000, in a local hospital surrounded by his loving family. John was preceded in death by his first wife, Bertha Sandoval. John is survived by his wife, Lucy of 40 years; and daughter, Antoinette Sandoval of the family home; his children, Charly and husband, Jack Rojas, J.B. and wife, Theresa Sandoval, Ron Sandoval and fiancee, Tommy Maez, Dave and wife, Cheryl Sandoval, Rick Sandoval and fiancee, Bernadine Romero, Paul and wife, Cynthia Sandoval, Steven Sandoval, Theresa and husband, J.B. Sandoval, Angie and husband, Anastacio Padilla, Anastacio and wife, Frieda Zamora, Margaret and husband, Frank Saiz, Rebecca and fiancee, Karl Martinez; his grandchildren, Jack and wife, Deianna Rojas, Ruben and wife, Shannon Sandoval, Ron Jr., Gabriel, Misty, Andre Sandoval, Charly and husband, Trent, Jennifer Sandoval, Dominique, Brandi Sandoval, Frankie Muller, Charlene, Danielle Sandoval, Andrea, Angela Sandoval, Estevan, Alexa Sandoval, Rick Padilla, Valley Ann and husband, Ramon Martinez, Saul Zamora, Francisco, Anastacio Saiz, Andrienne, Stephanie Van Paris; his great-grandchildren, Bryan, Christopher Rojas, Nicole, Ruben Jr., Brandon, Abram Sandoval, Mario Trujillo, Alanis Kitridge, Vanessa, Zackary, Alexandria Rael, Matthew Chavez, Dominika Green; his sisters, Louise and husband, Willie Martinez, Sally and husband, Raymond Chavez, Lola and husband, Mannie Barraza; his brothers, Joe and wife, Jennie Saavedra, Moises Saavedra (deceased). Memorial services will be held on Saturday at the Family Worship Center, 5200 Iliff Road NW, where the services will be held at 9:00 a.m. with Pastor Steve Ulibarri officiating. Innichement will follow at the Vista Verde Memorial Park, 4310 Sara Road, Rio Rancho. Funeral services are in the care of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Avenue SW.
