Obituary for Johnson

Craig Johnson, 59, a resident of Albuquerque since 1977, died Wednesday, July 12, 2000. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sandra Johnson of the family home; sons, Geoffrey C. Johnson of Key Largo, FL, Tige C. Johnson and wife, Yvonne C. of Chicago, IL, and Reuel C. Johnson of Albuquerque; sisters, Sherrill Creer and husband, Ronald and Jill Rodriguez, all of Albuquerque; brother, Kent Johnson and wife, Carol of Snohomish, WA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Johnson was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. He was a member of the American Legion, Post 49. Mr. Johnson was involved in numerous organizations and community activities during his years here in Albuquerque. His love of travel was just one of his many interests. He was loved and will be missed by all. Graveside services will be held Monday, July 17, 2000, 3:00 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery, with Pastor Russell Lee officiating. Pallbearers will be Geoffrey Johnson, Tige Johnson, Reuel Johnson, Bill Villiers, Cliff Barbieri, and Gavin Creer. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Sunday, July 16, 2000, 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Craig Johnson Memorial Fund at First Financial Credit Union, P.O. Box 25587, 87125.
