Obituary for Candelaria

Jessie B. Candelaria, age 78, a resident of Albuquerque for 47 years, died on Monday, February 21, 2000. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Julian I. Candelaria of Albuquerque, sons; Pablo T. Candelaria of San Francisco, CA, Antonio Candelaria of Albuquerque, daughters; Sally C. Wehling and husband, Joseph, and Regina C. MacKenzie and husband, John, all of Albuquerque, granddaughters; Emma J. Wehling, Alice T. Wehling and Madeline M. MacKenzie, all of Albuquerque, grandsons, Malcolm E MacKenzie and Julian B. MacKenzie of Albuquerque, brothers; Charlie Baca and wife Rosie of Albuquerque, Refugio Baca of Estancia, NM, sisters-in-law; Juanita Candelaria, Dolores Candelaria and Nestora Baca, all of Albuquerque; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Candelaria was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Petra Baca; and two brothers, Santiago Baca and Damacio Baca. Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, February 23, 2000, 7:00 p.m., at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5311 Phoenix NE, with Deacon Reuben Garcia reciting. Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, February 24, 2000, 10:00 a.m., at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church with Father Johnny Lee Chavez, Celebrant and Deacon Pilar Garcia assisting. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Arturo Archuleta, Joshua Jaramillo, Kevin Gallegos, Paul Baca, Peter Baca, Jimmy Santiago Baca, Eddie Gene Baca and Sammy Lucero. Honorary pallbearers will be Martina Baca, Rosemary Dillard, Pamela Driscoll, Dolores Baca, Christy Baca-Jones, and Emma Wehlting.
