Obituary for Esquivel

Frank (Kiko) Esquivel, 81, beloved father, grandfather and brother was called home to be with the Lord Thursday, September 14, 2000, while surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Esquivel was born in El Paso, TX to the late Isidro and Leonarda Esquivel; he retired from the Santa Fe Rail Road; and was a resident of Albuquerque. He is survived by two sons, Ray Esquivel and wife Dinah, Frankie Esquivel Jr., both of Albuquerque; four daughters, Sarah Guinn and husband, Stan of Corrales, Lori Leasure and husband, Dave of Los Angeles, CA, Flora Chavez and husband, Bob of Albuquerque and Stephanie Esquivel of Austin, TX; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Also surviving are one sister, Gloria Esquivel of Albuquerque. A Rosary will be recited this evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at San Jose Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Mitch Guinn, Matt Guinn, Jason Chavez, Ken Leasure, Chris Leasure, Chris Esquivel and Henry Esquivel. For floral assistance, please call 243-5222.
