Darlene Carlson, a resident of Albuquerque since 1953, died Wednesday, September 13, 2000. She is survived by her daughters, Pamela Carlson Ozment and husband, James III of Memphis, TN, Beth Forrester and husband, Jim of Albuquerque, Melissa Hynes and husband, Ken of Crosswicks, NJ and Jenny Whiteman and husband, Terry of Rio Rancho; granddaughters, Michelle Foltz of Nashville, TN and Leslie Foltz of Albuquerque; grandsons, Jamie Ozment of Memphis, TN, Kenny Hynes and Kevin Hynes, both of Crosswicks, NJ; and sister, Dorothy Grove and husband, John of La Salle, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl R. Carlson. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Friday, 4:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with The Rev. Canon Byron D. McDougall officiating. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Heart Hospital of New Mexico, 504 Elm NE, 87102 or to the American Cancer Society, 5800 Lomas NE, 87110.
