Obituary for Baca

Cynthia Ann Baca, age 46, passed away September 3, 2000 at St. Joseph Hospital in Albuquerque following an extended illness. Cynthia was born July 24, 1954 in Borger, Texas to the home of Andy and Polly Tenorio Baca. Cynthia was reared and attended schools in Santa Rosa, graduating from Santa Rosa High School in 1972. After receiving her degree as an LPN, Cynthia worked for Guadalupe County Hospital in Santa Rosa and at numerous facilities in Albuquerque. She was preceded in death by a brother, Andrew Baca; her maternal grandparents, Nabor and Julia Tenorio; and her paternal grandparents, Frank and Leandra Baca. Survivors include her husband, Joe Campos of Albuquerque; two sons, Andres Nieto and Gideon Campos of Albuquerque; two grandchildren, Andrea Nieto and Alcario Nieto; her parents, Andy and Polly Baca of Santa Rosa; brothers and sisters, Alfred Baca and wife, Barbara, Arthur Baca and wife, Anastacia, Julie Delgado and husband, Richard, all of Santa Rosa, Kenny Baca and wife, Larrisa of Las Vegas, NV, and Laura Cantu and husband, Alex of Phoenix, AZ. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Rosary services will be conducted on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. from St. Rose Church in Santa Rosa. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. also from St. Rose of Lima Church with Father Stephen Schultz officiating. Cremation has taken place and interment of cremains will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery immediately after the Memorial Mass.
