Obituary for Trujillo

Eloise Elkins Trujillo, a resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, September 3 2000. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Ben Trujillo of the family home; son, David Trujillo and wife, Dianna of Albuquerque; daughter, Betty Gonzales of Amarillo, TX; grandchildren, Michelle Trujillo and Alex Trujillo, both of Albuquerque; great-grandchildren, Desiree, Joshua, Selena, Julian and Elizabeth, all of Albuquerque; sister, Eva Garcia and husband, Ralph of Albuquerque; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Trujillo was preceded in death by father, Elmer Elkins Sr.; mother, Escolastica Elkins; brothers, Elmer Elkins Jr. and Leo Elkins; sisters, Molly Martinez, Erma Montoya, Barbara Montoya and Morley Medrano. Mrs. Trujillo was a member of the St. Bernadette choir and an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post 99. In her spare time, she was a ceramics instructor for the senior programs in Albuquerque, she also enjoyed knitting, sewing and baking. Eloise loved life and every morning she woke up with a smile. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all. Mass will be celebrated Thursday, September 7, 2000, 9:00 a.m., at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Rd. NE. Rosary will be recited Wednesday, September 6, 2000, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas NE. .DMP
