Guy E. Toler Jr., 71, a longtime resident of Los Lunas, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2000 in Belen. He was born November 26, 1928 to Guy E. and Edola (Norman) Toler in Lubbock, TX. Guy married Verdie Mae Schuessler in Estancia on June 15, 1949. She preceded him in death, February 28, 1984. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Guy E. and Edola Toler; and one brother, Bobby Toler. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Beverly A. and Jacob A. Eppinga of Los Lunas; two sons, Bobby A. Toler of Grants and Gary E. Toler and Eva Hicks of Los Lunas; two brothers, Bill Toler and James Maxwell; four sisters, Pat Supulver, Ila Jo Ann Sitton, Jeannie McMillan and Linda Reynolds; five grandchildren, Charmaine D. Eppinga, Jacob A. Eppinga, Gerico J. Toler, Melodee L. Toler and Kelby Mae Toler; two great-grandchildren, Addison Toler and Austin Toler; and special friends, Foch Romero, Wilma Deemer and Ray Haynes. A Graveside Funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 5 2000, 10:00 a.m., at the Mountainair Cemetery in Mountainair, NM with Pastor Gary Sloan officiating. Pallbearers will be Jacob Eppinga, Ray Haynes, Bill Toler and Gary Toler. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Mountainair, NM.
